Obverse description The obverse is executed in a sepia letterpress and engraved style on aged cotton paper. At the upper centre, the bank title reads 'S. Saviour's Bank' in bold script, flanked on the left by a small vignette of a church building and on the right by a circular vignette. The central text carries the promise-to-pay legend 'ONE POUND' with a manuscript date of May 1832 referencing Jersey, accompanied by a handwritten signature and a large guilloche-style 'ONE' underprint at centre.

Reverse description The reverse is largely plain, printed on unadorned cotton paper with no central vignette or major printed design. The surface shows age-related foxing and craquelure consistent with early nineteenth-century paper stock, with only faint manuscript notations visible.
