| 背面描述 | Printed in brown on a fine geometric engine-turned ground, the reverse is dominated by a large central oval vignette of Douglas harbour, showing steam vessels at anchor with the town and hills beyond in a detailed intaglio panorama. The oval is surrounded by elaborate acanthus-scroll ornamentation, with large £1 cyphers in guilloche panels to the left and right. The issuer's name and branch arc across the top of the oval surround, and the Head Office address is lettered in a curved cartouche at the foot. |
