正面描述	The obverse is printed in brown tones on a light ground with fine guilloche underprint. At upper left, the bank title appears in Greek (ΚΕΝΤΡΙΚΗ ΤΡΑΠΕΖΑ ΤΗΣ ΚΥΠΡΟΥ) and in Turkish (KIBRIS MERKEZ BANKASI), flanking a circular vignette of the Cypriot coat of arms. To the right, a classical female figure — a reproduction of an ancient mosaic or fresco — is rendered in intaglio, holding a bird. The denomination £1 appears in numeral form at upper right and lower left, with the serial number printed twice in dark ink and a facsimile signature below the central text MIA ΛΙΡΑ / BIR LIRA.
