The Isle of Stroma is an uninhabited Scottish island in the Pentland Firth with no mint, no government, and no legal authority to issue currency. These "coins" are fantasy pieces — collector novelties produced by private firms exploiting the romantic appeal of obscure island names. The Toyger is a domestic cat breed developed in the United States from the 1980s onward, with no connection to Stroma whatsoever.
