正面描述 Printed on pink paper, the obverse bears a circular vignette at upper left enclosing a horse's head in profile within an ornate border, with the bank title BANCO ARGENTINO and place name ROSARIO in bold letterpress across the centre. The denomination UN REAL appears in large display type below, accompanied by a numeral '1' in a decorative oval at lower left, all framed within a guilloche-patterned underprint border. A text panel states the note is payable on demand for one peso plata boliviana or its equivalent in legal tender to the bearer of eight such notes.

背面描述 The reverse, on the same pink stock, carries no independent design elements; only a faint show-through of the obverse letterpress text and border ornaments is visible in light blue-grey ink, consistent with single-sided local or emergency issue printing practice.

备注

Banco Argentino operated out of Rosario during the turbulent free-banking period of the Argentine provinces, when dozens of provincial and private banks issued their own paper currency with little federal oversight. The 1 Real denomination places this squarely in the pre-decimal transition years, when both reales and pesos circulated simultaneously and public confidence in private bank paper varied wildly by institution and region.

Rosario-issued private bank notes from this period are genuinely difficult to locate — most provincial free-banking institutions collapsed or were absorbed following the national banking reforms of the 1860s and 1870s, and their paper was largely redeemed, cancelled, or simply lost.
