The irregularly shaped cob flan shows portions of the surrounding circular legend reading PHILIPVS V, partially visible at the periphery due to the nature of the hammered striking. The design reflects the standard colonial macuquina (cob) style produced at the Potosí mint under Philip V of Spain. |
