| Reverse description | The reverse is printed in violet and black and centred on two large circular coin vignettes side by side: the left vignette reproduces the obverse of the Hyderabad Osmania rupee coin with the Charminar monument at its centre within an ornate border, while the right vignette shows the reverse of the same coin with calligraphic inscription within a geometric guilloche ring. The denomination "ONE RUPEE" appears at top centre in English, accompanied by the value in Kannada script (ಒಂದು ರೂಪಾಯಿ) at upper right, and the value repeated in Telugu (ఒక రూపాయి) and Marathi (एक रुपया) in the lower corners, all enclosed within a fine scalloped frame. |
