| Obverse description | Central field features the crescent and star device facing left, positioned above the Tughra inscription 'حکومتِ پاکستان' (Hukumat-e-Pakistan / Government of Pakistan) in Nastaliq calligraphy. The date 1969 appears to the right of the Tughra. Along the upper arc, a Quranic verse from Surah Al-Hujurat reads 'إن المؤمنون إخوة' (Verily, the believers are brothers).
