| 表面の説明 | Draped bust of Queen Victoria facing left, engraved by William Wyon, with a divided legend around the periphery. Applied over the obverse is a circular indent counterstamp of approximately 14 mm, bearing the Arabic inscription of Shaykh Sa`id fi Ra`s al-Mandab, applied circa 1880–1890 to validate the coin for local circulation in the Ra`s Bab al-Mandab region. The counterstamp partially overlaps the royal effigy and sits prominently in the coin's field. |
