| 备注 |
The Government of Seychelles began issuing its own currency notes only in 1914, when the outbreak of war disrupted the supply of coin from Britain and created an immediate shortage of small change across the islands. This 1 Rupee note belongs to the series that filled that gap — a direct consequence of wartime logistics, not a planned monetary development.
De La Rue held the contract throughout the series run, which stretched well past the war into the mid-1930s. The long issue window and the humid, equatorial climate of the Seychelles mean that notes from the earlier dates within the range are considerably scarcer in any condition than those from the later printings.
