| Obverse description | Printed in green on white paper, the note is enclosed within an ornate cartouche of interlaced guilloche scrollwork. Two circular vignettes occupy the centre field: the left bears a tughra inscription and the right carries the Afghan state arms. A handwritten serial number in red appears at the top, with Persian script inscriptions running along the lower register and the Afghan solar calendar date (1298) at the foot. |

| Reverse description | Printed in pale grey-green, the reverse mirrors the ornate guilloche border framework of the obverse but without serial numbering. Persian script inscriptions appear in the lower panel, consistent with the treasury text found on the obverse. |
