| Obverse description | The note is framed by an ornate letterpress border with decorative corner pieces and continuous guilloche patterning. At the top centre, a small vignette of the crowned imperial double-headed eagle is set between two oval cartouches inscribed РУБЛЬ at left and СЕРEB. at right. Below, the heading ГОСУДАРСТВЕННЫЙ КРЕДИТНЫЙ БИЛЕТЪ appears in bold letterpress, followed by the redemption text in Cyrillic script, with manuscript signatures of the Управляющий (Manager) and Директор/Кассир (Director/Cashier) beneath. The serial number and denomination tablet РУБЛЬ 1 СЕРEB. appear at the foot, with the serial number repeated at lower right. |
