| 备注 |
Bank Polski's 1 Silver Rouble of 1864 was issued under the tight administrative grip of the Russian Imperial government, which had effectively reduced the bank to a colonial instrument following the failed January Uprising of 1863. The timing is not coincidental — the uprising triggered sweeping reprisals, and the bank was formally liquidated just three years later in 1867, its functions absorbed directly into Russian state finance. This note belongs to the brief, politically fraught window between suppression and abolition.
The inscription "Bank Polski" would disappear entirely from Polish currency for over fifty years.
