| Descripción del anverso | Standing female figure in three-quarter view, rendered in high sculptural relief, holding a large sheaf of wheat in her right arm while her left arm is raised behind her head in a dynamic harvesting pose. A flowering plant appears at her feet in the lower left field. The curved legend REPUBLIKA CESKOSLOVENSKA arcs along the left and right periphery, with the date 1920 inscribed in the exergue. The composition reflects the Art Nouveau-influenced allegorical style characteristic of engraver Otakar Španiel. |

| Descripción del reverso | Two crossed linden branches bearing heart-shaped leaves arranged symmetrically across the central field, with the numeral 1 prominently placed above their intersection and a small five-pointed star at the top of the field. The denomination legend SOKOL is inscribed in the lower portion of the field, separated from the branches. The overall design is clean and heraldic in character, with the linden — the national tree of Czechoslovakia — serving as the principal decorative motif. |

The Sokol ("Falcon") was Czechoslovakia's first independent coinage, issued in 1920 as the newly formed republic scrambled to replace the Austro-Hungarian krone circulating in its territory. The name referenced the Sokol gymnastics movement, a pan-Slavic organization that had been deliberately suppressed by Vienna for decades and carried enormous symbolic weight for Czech national identity.
Production was contracted to the Kremnica Mint in Slovakia, which had operated continuously since 1328 under Hungarian administration and was now suddenly a domestic facility for a country that had existed for less than two years.
