| Obverse description | Within a decorative lobed inner border, the national coat of arms of Tajikistan is depicted in the upper field, flanked by stylized foliate ornaments on either side. The large numeral '1' dominates the central field in bold relief, with the silver fineness mark 'Ag 925' inscribed to the right. The legend 'ҶУМҲУРИИ ТОҶИКИСТОН' (Republic of Tajikistan) curves along the upper periphery in Cyrillic script, while the denomination 'ЯК СОМОНӢ' (One Somoni) appears along the lower periphery, also in Cyrillic. The date '2006' is inscribed in the lower exergual area beneath the central numeral. |
