Aanvullende informatie

Ecuador's 1975 sucre pattern coinage emerged during the government of General Guillermo Rodríguez Lara, whose military junta was navigating an oil boom that had transformed the country's economy almost overnight following the 1972 Amazonian pipeline opening. Pattern sets from this period were produced as the Banco Central evaluated potential coinage reforms that were never fully implemented, leaving pieces like this one without a corresponding circulation issue.

The KM#Pn15 designation confirms pattern status. Survival numbers are unknown but almost certainly very small.
