| Reverse description | Plain, uninscribed reverse with a smooth, irregular cast surface, consistent with the designation of this piece as a 'blank' type within Series I of the Vetulonian coinage. The surface shows no intentional design or legend, displaying only the natural texture of the cast bronze flan. Minor surface irregularities and casting flaws are visible, typical of Etruscan aes grave production of this period. The lack of reverse type is a defining characteristic of this emission and distinguishes it from other Vetulonian uncia issues. |
