Reverse description Concave flan bearing a curvilinear device in low relief, depicting what appears to be a stylized rendering of the sacred syllable 'sri' in an early South or Southeast Asian script tradition, executed with sinuous, flowing strokes that fill much of the central field. The motif has also been interpreted as a serpentine or floral decorative element. The irregular planchet edge is characteristic of hand-hammered production, and no surrounding legend or border is present.
