The central field carries a pink guilloche underprint over which the denomination "10 Milliarden Mark" is set in large Gothic (Fraktur) blackletter type, followed by the redemption text, place, and date "Pinneberg, den 18. Oktober 1923", the issuing authority line "Für die Stadt Pinneberg / DER MAGISTRAT", and a manuscript signature.
