The BEAC 10 000 Francs series circulated across six Central African states — Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon — with individual country codes printed on each note to distinguish national allocation from the shared pool. The suffix letter in the Pick reference (P#210U) denotes the Cameroon variant; parallel suffixes run through to P#210T for the other member states.
Five signature combinations across a seventeen-year run reflect the institutional turnover at the BEAC during a period of recurring regional fiscal stress. Printing remained with Banque de France throughout.
