コメント	Chile's 10,000 Peso note was introduced in 1994 as the highest denomination in general circulation, a position it held for over a decade before inflation quietly eroded its purchasing power to the point where the 20,000 Peso note became necessary. Thomas De La Rue's involvement with Chilean currency dates back well into the twentieth century — the relationship was long enough that security specifications evolved across successive print runs, the segmented thread variant distinguishing later production within this series from earlier issues bearing a plain embedded strip.
