Obverse description Intaglio portrait of King Norodom Sihanouk at right, rendered in deep purple-violet tones against a multicolour guilloche underprint with a central Naga (mythical serpent) head vignette at lower centre-left. The denomination numeral '១០០០០' appears in large Khmer script at upper centre, with '10000' in Arabic numerals at lower right; two serial number sets are printed in red and black respectively.

Reverse description Central vignette presents a panoramic view of the Water Festival (Bon Om Touk) on the Tonle Sap River, with two ceremonial longboats filled with rowers in the foreground and the Royal Palace complex of Phnom Penh visible along the riverbank in the background. The scene is executed in intaglio in dark blue-grey tones, framed above and below by multicolour guilloche borders incorporating Naga motifs at the corners; denomination numerals '១០០០០' and '10000' appear at lower left and lower right respectively.
