The "Amero" is a recurring fixture in North American conspiracy literature — the idea that the U.S., Canada, and Mexico would adopt a shared currency modeled on the Euro. No such currency has ever been proposed through any official legislative or treaty process. This note is a privately produced novelty item, not legal tender in any jurisdiction, and the "Union of North America" has no governmental standing.
