Reverse description Multi-line Arabic mint and date legend occupying the full field of this hammered copper flan. The inscription records the place and year of striking, reading 'Struck in Algeria, 1237' (AH), with the Hijri date rendered in Arabic-Indic numerals. The flan is irregular and shows typical surface porosity and weak strike areas, consistent with the crude hammered coinage produced at the Algiers Mint during the Ottoman regency period. A dotted border, partially visible, encircles the legend.
