| Beschrijving keerzijde | The Royal Arms of the Kingdom of Cambodia occupy the central field, comprising a circular shield depicting the royal palace or a tiered temple structure, surmounted by a prassat spire with radiating rays above, and flanked by two ceremonial royal fans crossed in saltire. The arms are encircled by a wreath and surrounded by Khmer script legend arranged around the upper portion of the field. The French denomination legend · DIX CENTIMES · appears in the lower portion of the field, separated from the arms by two raised dots serving as stops. The entire design is enclosed within a dentilated border. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Cambodia's 1860 coinage was issued under Norodom I just as the French were consolidating their grip on Cochinchina, one year before the protectorate treaty that would formally subordinate the Khmer kingdom to Paris. These pieces were struck in France, almost certainly at the Paris Mint, at a moment when Norodom's own political position was fragile — he had only recently been placed on the throne with French and Spanish military backing against a rival claimant. The X# prefix in the references indicates this issue has historically been treated as a pattern or semi-official strike rather than a mainstream circulation coin.
