Trial pieces for the British Caribbean Territories Eastern Group were produced as the Currency Board worked to establish a unified coinage for its member territories — Barbados, British Guiana, British Honduras, the Leeward Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Windward Islands — ahead of full circulation issues. The X# designation places this firmly outside standard coinage, catalogued instead among Unusual World Coins.
