The circular legend INDO-CHINE FRANÇAISE arcs around the upper periphery, while the lower legend reads TITRE 0,632 POIDS 2 GR. 7, specifying the fineness and weight of this pattern piece; the counterstamped purity figures 0,632 are prominently visible, overstruck on the original 0,835 specification. A fine toothed border surrounds the entire design.
