| Reverse description | The legend "مسجد قبة الصخرة" in Arabic and "DOME OF THE ROCK" in Latin script arc along the upper rim, separated by ornamental stars. A detailed depiction of the Dome of the Rock occupies the central field. The essai designations "نموذج" (in Arabic) and "Essai" (in Latin) appear to the left and right of the central device. Below the building, the bilingual inscription "JERUSALEM" in Latin and "القدس" in Arabic is displayed across the center. The denomination "TEN DINARS" and "عشرة دنانير" are inscribed along the lower rim, with the designer's initials "JL" (for Joseph E. Lang) enclosed within a twelve-pointed star in the exergue. |
