The 2024 UAE 10 Dirham note is among the first issues produced entirely by Oumolat Security Printing LLC, the Emirati security printing facility established to bring banknote production onshore. For decades, Gulf states routinely contracted European and Commonwealth printers — De La Rue, Giesecke+Devrient, the Australian Note Printing Branch — so domestic production at this level is a genuine operational shift for the region.

The polymer substrate aligns the 10 Dirham with the UAE's broader push toward a fully polymer national series. The dual dating — 1443 Hijri alongside 2024 CE — follows standard UAE practice for this denomination.
