背面描述	The reverse presents an outline map of São Tomé and Príncipe positioned in the lower centre, set within a multicolour guilloche underprint in pastel greens, yellows, and blues. A large stylised butterfly silhouette in yellow-green occupies the upper centre, flanked by a smaller, detailed vignette of an Acraea niobe butterfly at lower right. A São Tomé prinia (Prinia molleri) is perched at the right margin, rendered in fine intaglio detail against the guilloche background.
