正面描述	The obverse is printed in black and green with a pink underprint, centred on a large lathe-work guilloche vignette bearing the numeral 10. Two oval portrait vignettes flank the central device, each enclosing a bust-length male portrait. The issuer's title UNION BANK OF CANADA runs across the top in bold letterpress, with the place of issue WINNIPEG and date JULY 1, 1921 inscribed below the central vignette; serial numbers appear in red at upper left and upper right.
