背面描述 Central vignette within an elaborate ornate cartouche depicting a bullock cart laden with goods, attended by a figure in traditional dress, set against a background of palm trees and tropical foliage. The guilloche framework extends into decorative lobed panels on either side, each enclosing the numeral 10, with intricate lathe-work fretwork filling the surrounding borders. The printer's imprint appears at the lower centre.

备注

The Straits Settlements — comprising Singapore, Penang, and Malacca — operated as a Crown Colony under direct British administration, and its currency commission relied entirely on London for note production throughout this period. Thomas De La Rue had held the contract since the colonial government took over issuance from the private Chartered banks in the early twentieth century.

The P#11 series was replaced following the 1930 Currency Ordinance revision, which restructured the issuing authority ahead of broader Malayan monetary consolidation. Notes from the later years of this range are considerably scarcer than earlier dated examples — the Depression-era contraction in trade volume meant fewer notes were actually placed into circulation before the series was withdrawn.
