| 正面铭文 | CENTRAL BANK OF BARBADOS THESE NOTES ARE LEGAL TENDER FOR THE PAYMENT OF ANY AMOUNT TEN DOLLARS $10 GOVERNOR CHARLES DUNCAN O'NEAL |
| 背面描述 | The reverse presents a detailed intaglio and lithographic vignette of the Bridgetown waterfront and Parliament Buildings, set against a skyline with palm trees and a bridge crossing the Careenage. The composition is framed by intricate guilloche borders in warm brown and green tones, with the denomination Ten Dollars rendered in stylised script at lower left. A large latent-image numeral panel appears at right, and the printer's imprint DE LA RUE is visible at the lower centre margin. |

The P-62 is part of the revised 2000 series that introduced upgraded security to the Barbadian dollar family, a response to increasingly sophisticated regional counterfeiting that had troubled several Eastern Caribbean jurisdictions through the late 1990s. De La Rue's involvement here is long-standing — Barbados has sourced its notes from them since independence-era issues, giving the series an unusual continuity of printer across four decades.
Marion Williams served as Governor of the Central Bank from 1999 to 2009, one of the longer tenures in the institution's history. The dual-signature format on this series lists her name explicitly rather than just the title, which is not universal practice among Caribbean central banks.
