At centre, the legal tender clause reads 'THIS NOTE IS LEGAL TENDER FOR TEN DOLLARS IN SOLOMON ISLANDS', flanked at right by the national coat of arms with the motto 'TO LEAD IS TO SERVE'; two facsimile signatures are printed below, captioned 'Governor, Central Bank' and 'Secretary, Ministry of Finance'.
