| Obverse description | The full national coat of arms of Trinidad and Tobago occupies the central field, featuring a quartered shield displaying two sailing vessels, supported by a scarlet ibis dexter and a cocrico sinister, both standing on a rocky and wavy ground. Above the shield rises a helmet surmounted by a ship's wheel and a palm tree as crest. Two scrolled ribbons below the shield bear the national motto in Latin lettering: TOGETHER WE ASPIRE and TOGETHER WE ACHIEVE.
