| 备注 |
Banco Nacional Ultramarino served as the note-issuing authority across Portugal's overseas territories, and this 1921 issue was one of several denominations produced by Bradbury Wilkinson for the metropolitan Portuguese escudo system rather than any specific colonial branch — though BNU's remit at the time stretched from Mozambique to Macau. The precise territory of intended circulation for P#58 warrants attention; BNU issued near-identical series for different provinces, and misattribution in collections is common.
Bradbury Wilkinson's intaglio work from this period is technically consistent, and the paper quality tends to hold up reasonably well, but BNU notes from the early 1920s frequently show evidence of prolonged tropical storage — foxing, tide lines, and brittleness at the folds are characteristic problems for the series rather than signs of unusual mishandling.
