Opmerkingen

Euro Taxi scrip — taxi company-issued vouchers denominated in euros and intended as prepaid fare tokens or employee travel allowances — circulated in several European markets during the mid-2000s. These are not legal tender and were never issued by any monetary authority. Their collectible interest lies almost entirely in the issuer: private transport companies producing currency-like paper instruments occupy a narrow but well-documented corner of notaphily, adjacent to casino chips and store tokens rather than banknote collecting proper.

Condition matters less here than provenance — knowing which taxi operator issued it and in which city.
