| Obverse description | Printed in violet-blue tones, the note is dominated by a large central oval guilloche frame enclosing the bank title and denomination. Two circular medallion vignettes flank the central text: at left, a portrait of an indigenous or colonial male figure in profile facing right, and at right, a classically rendered female head in profile facing left. A star ornament crowns the top of the oval frame, flanked by palm frond motifs. At the lower centre, a cartouche bears the anti-counterfeiting penal code warning, with the printer's imprint and copyright notice along the bottom margin. The note is overprinted SPECIMEN in black, with a manuscript cashier's signature in blue ink. |
