| Obverse description | Green intaglio-printed note with the bank title DE SURINAAMSCHE BANK in bold lettering across the upper portion, above the legend TE PARAMARIBO and BETAALT AAN TOONDER. A central guilloche vignette frames the large numeral 10, flanked by radiating sunburst underprint patterns. At right, a vignette of a tropical hut beneath palm trees is enclosed within the border; denomination corners read 10, and the printer's imprint DRUK DE BUSSY AMSTERDAM appears at the foot.
