| 备注 |
The Bank van de Nederlandse Antillen replaced its earlier currency authority structure in 1962, and by the time this series was issued, the Netherlands Antilles still comprised six islands split across two island groups more than 900 kilometers apart — Curaçao and Bonaire near Venezuela, and the three Windward islands near Anguilla. A single circulating currency binding that geography was a persistent administrative challenge. Enschedé in Haarlem printed Netherlands Antillean notes throughout most of the twentieth century, a relationship that predated the Antilles' autonomy within the Kingdom.
