| Reverse description | The reverse bears a portrait of Petro Mohyla rendered after an 18th-century painting by an unknown artist, now preserved in the National Museum of the History of Ukraine. The bust-length effigy is shown in three-quarter view, dressed in the robes and vestments of a metropolitan, and holding a baton of ecclesiastical office. Above the baton, a three-line inscription gives the subject's name ПЕТРО МОГИЛА and his life dates 1596–1647. The portrait is set within the coin's field with minimal decorative framing, in keeping with the commemorative character of the issue. |
