| 正面铭文 | УКРАЇНА 10 КАРБОВАНЦІВ |
| 背面描述 | Central medallion featuring a crowned portrait effigy of Danylo Halytskyi (Daniel of Galicia), the medieval Rus' king and founder of the Galician-Volhynian Kingdom, facing forward. The medallion is rendered in red enamel with a silver-bordered blue cross and ornamental knotwork surrounding it. Military variants of this fantasy piece depict crossed swords above the ribbon bar, referencing the Order of Danylo Halytskyi. The reverse legend in Cyrillic script reads 'Орден Данила Галицького' (Order of Danylo Halytskyi), referencing the Ukrainian state honor of the same name. The overall design evokes the iconography of a state decoration rather than a conventional coin reverse. |

Ukraine's 10 karbovantsiv denomination revives a currency name last used during two distinct and turbulent periods: the short-lived Ukrainian People's Republic of 1917–1920, and again during the post-Soviet transitional coinage of 1992–1996, before the hryvnia was restored as the permanent unit. Reintroducing the karbovantsiv name in 2025, amid ongoing war with Russia, carries an unmistakable political charge — the term is inseparable from Ukrainian monetary independence from Moscow.
