| Obverse description | Austro-Hungarian Bank 10 Korona note of 2 January 1915 (Pick Austria #19) overprinted with a rectangular blue Czechoslovak state stamp reading '10 HALER' at upper left, bearing the Czechoslovak lion coat of arms. The underlying note carries the 'TIZ KORONA' / 'OSZTRAK-MAGYAR BANK' inscription in the central panel, with a portrait vignette of a young woman at right within an ornate guilloche border. The stamp affixed in 1919 validated the note for circulation as 10 Korun of the new Czechoslovak state. |
