备注

The Österreichische Staatswohltätigkeitslotterie — the Austrian State Charity Lottery — issued these notes not as circulating currency but as lottery tickets denominated in Kronen, a currency that had already been replaced by the Schilling in 1925. Using the obsolete Kronen denomination six years after its demonetization was a deliberate pricing fiction, keeping face values impressively large while the real cost remained trivial.

The "Danube State" branding reflects the brief cultural movement of the early 1930s promoting pan-Danubian identity as Austria searched for a coherent post-Habsburg national character — an awkward exercise given what was coming politically within the decade.
