| 背面描述 | The reverse, printed entirely in red, presents an intaglio landscape vignette of the historic Meriç (Maritsa) River bridge at Edirne, framed by trees and rendered with fine line engraving. An elaborate floral and arabesque medallion occupies the left panel, while a large unprinted circular watermark zone is reserved on the right. Intricate guilloche borders and corner numerals '10' complete the design. |

| 备注 |
The P#157 belongs to Turkey's third emission series, issued by the Central Bank following the country's post-war economic stabilization efforts under the Democrat Party government. Thomas De La Rue held the Central Bank's printing contracts through much of this period, and the 1953 issues reflect the firm's characteristic intaglio work from their Bunhill Row facility.
The "red reverse" designation distinguishes this from an earlier color variant of the same denomination — a practical cataloguing distinction that reflects a mid-series production change rather than a separate emission or issuing authority decision.
