Liberland — a self-declared microstate occupying a disputed strip of land between Croatia and Serbia on the Danube's west bank — has never achieved international recognition, yet began issuing collector pieces almost immediately after Vít Jedlička proclaimed it a nation in April 2015. This wooden piece is among the more unusual of those issues, produced at a time when the Liberlandian government existed almost entirely online and its physical territory remained inaccessible due to Croatian border enforcement.
