| 正面描述 | The central vignette presents three young women in traditional Eritrean dress and jewellery, executed in intaglio against a brown guilloche underprint. To the left, a cameo oval vignette shows fighters raising the Eritrean flag on a hilltop, while an orange camel vignette occupies the right field alongside the date printed in red. Denomination numerals appear in the corner pieces, and a repeating camel-and-text security band runs along the left margin. |

| 备注 |
Eritrea's 2012 nakfa series was printed by Giesecke & Devrient in Munich, the same firm that printed Reichsmark notes for the Nazi government during the Second World War — a historical coincidence the German company long outlived by pivoting to security printing contracts across the developing world. The Bank of Eritrea has maintained nakfa issuance with minimal design changes since independence, partly as a deliberate signal of monetary stability in a country that has operated under strict foreign exchange controls since 1997.
