Obverse description At center, the State Emblem of Israel — a menorah flanked by two olive branches — is rendered in relief against a plain field. The face value '10' and denomination legend appear below the emblem, with the word 'Israel' inscribed in three scripts: Hebrew (ישראל), Arabic (إسرائيل), and Latin. The Hebrew year '5779' and Gregorian year '2019' are inscribed alongside the mintmark. Encircling the design, the legend 'The Twelve Spies' appears in all three languages, while a stylized cluster of grapes serves as a decorative element at the base of the design.

Reverse description The reverse presents a richly detailed artistic composition depicting the Biblical episode of the twelve spies returning from Canaan, as described in Numbers 13:23. At center, two figures carry an enormous cluster of grapes suspended from a pole borne between them, accompanied by pomegranates and figs — representative fruits of the seven species of the Land of Israel. To the upper right, a stalk of wheat symbolizes a further species among the seven. At lower right, an oversized pomegranate is prominently featured. To the left, a tilted jug with milk or honey flowing from its mouth alludes to the Biblical description of Canaan as 'a land flowing with milk and honey,' a phrase repeated twenty-one times in scripture. The design is rendered in a detailed, illustrative style appropriate to the coin's commemorative theme.
