At center, two figures carry an enormous cluster of grapes suspended from a pole borne between them, accompanied by pomegranates and figs — representative fruits of the seven species of the Land of Israel. To the upper right, a stalk of wheat symbolizes a further species among the seven. At lower right, an oversized pomegranate is prominently featured. To the left, a tilted jug with milk or honey flowing from its mouth alludes to the Biblical description of Canaan as 'a land flowing with milk and honey,' a phrase repeated twenty-one times in scripture.
