正面描述 Plain white note with engraved text in an elegant script throughout. At upper left, an oval cartouche bearing the denomination '10 PESOS'; at centre-left, a vignette of the Argentine coat of arms within a laurel wreath. The body of the note carries the promise-to-pay text in Spanish cursive lettering, with the denomination 'Diez Pesos' highlighted in a shaded oval underprint, the place of issue 'BUENOS AYRES', and the date in manuscript. Two manuscript signatures appear at the lower portion of the note, with the titles 'Contador' and 'Presidente' below each respectively.

备注

The Banco de Buenos Ayres was the first bank established in what is now Argentina, founded in 1822 under the direction of Bernardino Rivadavia as part of a broader program of institutional modernization for the newly independent province. It had a short, troubled life — a currency crisis and political pressure forced it to suspend specie payments within a few years, and the bank was ultimately absorbed into a successor institution in 1826.

Printed locally in Buenos Aires rather than by one of the established European security printers, the note reflects the limited production infrastructure of a young provincial administration still building its financial institutions from scratch. Local printing of this period is generally considered a vulnerability in the series — quality control was inconsistent.
